Engagement bonuses
One-time point bonuses for actions beyond spending, such as joining the program, writing a review, sharing on social, and creating an account.
⛔ You cannot set this up yet. Loyalty has not been released to stores, so there is no Loyalty entry in your sidebar and none of the screens below exist for you today. This describes how it will work once it ships. See what Brainerce does not do.
Purchases aren't the only behavior worth rewarding. The Engagement & growth section (Customers → Loyalty → Settings) holds one-time bonuses for actions that grow your store.
Every row shows a live one-line summary of its configuration, and each bonus fires once per customer, the built-in guard against farming.
The bonuses
| Bonus | Fires when… | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Joining the program | A customer becomes a loyalty member (enrollment). | Making the "Join rewards" button worth clicking. |
| Writing a review | A customer submits their first product review. | Social proof: reviews sell products. |
| Sharing on social | A customer reports sharing your store (self-reported via your storefront). | Cheap top-of-funnel reach. |
Toggle a bonus on, set its point amount, and save. The section header badge shows how many are active at a glance.

Two more in Advanced settings
- Account sign-up bonus gives points for creating a store account (distinct from joining the loyalty program: this one rewards registration itself). A strong nudge to turn guests into account holders.
- Retroactive credit for linked orders. When a guest registers and their past guest orders are linked to the new account by email, grant normal purchase points for those orders too. Off by default; generous stores turn it on.
Two bigger growth tools
The same section holds the referral program and birthday gifts. Each has its own guide.
